Thailand Travel Blog – (news report): A police officer fatally shot himself in his car at a gas station on Chaeng Wattana road on Thursday morning, police said.
Pol Col Prapat Sukhama, chief of the Metropolitan Police Bureau’s Centre for Children, Juveniles and Women, said the officer was identified as Pol Capt Bhumisak Lacho.
Pol Capt Bhumisak was found dead in his Mercedes Benz parked at Shell gas station, with his left hand carrying a 9mm pistol. His identification card was found inside the car with a message: “I’m stressed.”
Pol Col Prapat said the dead officer was transferred to his centre for about a month and he was working well and had no problems with his colleagues.
He said the suicide was certainly not work related. An employee at the gas station said Pol Col Prapat’s car was parked at the station since last night but the black window tint created poor visibility.
Police were investigating.
